The owner is the Shanghai Lujiazui Group. The Shangri-La Hotel, New Bund is expected to open in 2021. It is the only luxury five-star hotel in the New Bund area of the World Expo in Pudong, Shanghai. The complex will jointly create a large international business district integrating office, commerce, hotel and other functions. The main building of Shangri-La Hotel, New Bund is a 26-floor building with the podium on the 5th floor, with 604 rooms. Currently, there are two Shangri-la hotels in Shanghai: Shangri-La, Lujiazui and Shangri-La, Jingan. After the settlement in the New Bund, it will be the third one in Shanghai and the will be the flagship hotel of Shangri-La Group in Asia, which will surely become a landmark hotel in the New Bund Area.
